Gents,

Twenty Baltimore Ravens test positive.  Guys in bars all over the US are watching these relaxed Covid cautions for sports and figuring what the hell.  We are certainly seeing this attitude increasing in Florida.  Swagger is growing.

Nora caught a scene today where 3 young people were harassing and making fun of two older people in a store called Big Lots.  The youth even cut in front of them in the line. One of the customers who witnessed it all complained at cash about their behaviour.  All 3 were actually employees of Big Lots.  When Nora went into Dollar Tree, there were the three once again completely ignoring safety protocols at the cash out.  When Nora asked for some distancing, she got an big earful of 4 letter venom.  “What, are you afraid you’re gonna get sick?” and “You’re not my fucking mother!”  

The longer we are here, the less appealing is the unhappy and increasingly unpleasant culture.  As I might have mentioned, there is something definitely “off” about the place.  Especially noticeable when a speed boat goes by at the beach and half the beachgoers applaud and cheer because the boat is sporting a Trump flag.  Fortunately, the other half didn’t cheer!
