Today is International Day of Forests.  You might enjoy reading my friend’s excellent poem to the trees, kids, grandchildren or friends on this glorious day

I am honoured to have my poem "The Names of Trees" profiled by the British organization Trees for Cities to celebrate International Day of Forests, March 21st. 

I'm especially pleased as Robert Macfarlane, whose work I admire, was the judge. ( Author of The Lost Words and others.)
