[Craic] Profit and affordable housing don’t mix. Period | The Star

Hi Allan, Greg, David, et. al.

Fabulously good article by David Olive. It's the kind of thing we need tons more of to reveal the cracks and ultimately dislodge the neoliberal agenda/ideology/economic theory our governments have embraced. We need more regulation, more non-profits and, if needed, higher taxes to take care of all Canadians with policies that diminish the neoliberal hold of neoliberalism.

We remain hopeful,

Remo

If you are an outsider who cannot afford the membership fee, your ability to get members of the club to listen to your needs is severely limited.”

Now it is a free for all and real estate agents talk about a lack of product on the market. Everything is profit driven and the government seems to have little desire to regulate the market whether real estate. The shift to full on neoliberalism has allowed the corporate model free reign. Thank you for keeping us informed.
