Question: why would a US tech millionaire who also has a Montana cattle ranch send 90K US to the so called Canadian "Freedom Convoy" to support their alleged protest about vaccination mandates, even as he mandates vaccinations and has other protections for covid for all employees in his tech business?

Yes, all signs point to this unfortunately. This analysis helped me reflect more deeply about questions I have about current political behaviors, such as the question of why a US tech millionaire who also has a Montana cattle ranch would send 90K US to the so called Canadian "Freedom Convoy" to support their alleged protest about vaccination mandates, even as he mandates vaccinations and has other protections for covid for all employees in his tech business. It helps me to reflect on other questions like why would Elon Musk and the Saudi's paid so much to have ownership of Twitter, and then use it as an alt-right and QAnon propaganda tool, and why are MAGA politicians buying stock in weapons industries like Lockheed Martin and Raytheon, even as they foment domestic terrorism, insurrection, and an anti-vaccination agenda that is clearly against the better interests of the public welfare. I've got a million questions, and this article offers an interesting point of view to examine them from. My daughter describes current efforts to manage climate change as "it's like we're picking out patterns for the cushions on the lounge chairs on the Titanic", and I can't dispute that. Anyway, enjoy your New Year's , and let's hope for a better 2023.

It certainly made me think about a lot of recent political activity supporting militia movements in the US and Canada, and other very crazy seeming national and international activity. You may have already seen it since you're so involved in environmental issues, but in case you hadn't, I figured I'd draw your attention to it.
Peace, Vera
