Amidst the harrowing attacks on the Palestinian people, Canadians are engaging in a bold act of solidarity to force our government to end its complicity in genocide. People in Canada from coast to coast have joined a rotating hunger strike for Gaza. In merely 20 days, there have been 129 hunger strikes in Canada. While bombs are being dropped on Gaza and children are dying of starvation, every single day, people in Canada will continue hunger striking until the Canadian government enforces an arms embargo on Israel. As the number of Palestinians being killed and dismembered by Canadian-made weapons and weapons components increases rapidly, so does the number of people in Canada putting their bodies on the line in protest.

Gaza Starving is planning a national mass hunger strike day on January 18. The goal is to have over 100 people in Canada hunger striking on that day. En seulement 20 jours, 129 grèves de la faim ont eu lieu au Canada. Alors que des bombes pilonnent Gaza et que des enfants meurent de faim, des Canadiens continuent chaque jour de faire la grève de la faim jusqu'à ce que le gouvernement canadien impose un embargo sur les armes à destination d'Israël. Le nombre de Palestiniens tués et mutilés par des armes et des composants d'armes fabriqués au Canada augmente rapidement, tout comme le nombre de personnes au Canada qui mettent leur intégrité physique en jeu en signe de désapprobation.

Gaza Starving prévoit une journée nationale de grève de la faim de masse le 18 janvier. L'objectif est que plus de 100 personnes au Canada fassent une grève de la faim ce jour-là.
