    <p>I agree with the thesis of this film.  We definitely form our

      beliefs about reality from what we are told and what we

      experience.  We each believe that we have the correct beliefs. 

      Our beliefs create a map from which we make sense of the world and

      our place in that world.  "We act on the basis of that map but the

      map is not the territory"  <i>Korsybski</i>.   We can only fine

      tune our beliefs with sensory based evidence and logic devoid of

      bias. "Who you going to believe me or your own eyes"  <i>Groucho

        Marx.  </i><br>

    </p>

    <p>There is a branch of Philosophy known as Critical Theory that

      investigates how the power elites go about creating our beliefs to

      serve their interests.  I am attaching a link to a video that

      applies Critical Theory to a number of films that serve the

      Interests of various power elites like Hitler, Stalin to name a

      few.   <br>

    <p>I don't know where the source of this video is,  so I am pulling

      it out of my archives.  <b>You will have to download it before

        you can play it.  </b>It is a two hour film by Slavoj Zizek. 

      It  gives some very interesting theological insights into the

      meaning of the resurrection at least from my perspective.<b> </b><b><a
