<p>Yes Greg, if they have the $$$,$$$,$$$ for jets to perform at air shows, and new ships to visit tropical ports to entertain their crews, then there must be money available to sustain life in Canada.</p>

Thank you David, this is powerful stuff that the Canadian public needs to be aware of, this kind of defense spending is obscene especially in the face of the housing crisis and the state of first nations on reserves without clean drinking water and proper schools. Puts the lie to Truth and Reconciliation by the Liberal Government.

<p class="MsoNormal">Also, the costs don’t include other costs i.e. for offsetting the carbon emissions of the new fighter jets. <p class="MsoNormal">As well, this week the PBO released a report that said it will cost $15 billion for the federal government to meet the Jordan Principle and compensate First Nations communities for lack of social services.
