<p>I would like to share part of a conversation I am having with our
Scarboro Missions group. I am in dismay in how strong our faith
is in the ethical mandates of our technocratic medical system. I
fear that our democracy and civil liberties are under attack and
many former allies and friends are unwilling to stand up to the
fear messaging and authoritarian overreach of our political
propaganda systems. There is another way. Rather than control
creation, we can be one with creation.</p>

<p>Thank you very much for your polite and timely comments to my
email. I too, believe that we need to continue this discussion
especially with Trudeau's promise to mandate vaccines and remove
our civil right to informed consent . </p>
My critique of The Vaccine Equity webinar is that it obstructs the
process of logical and evidence based examination of the
contradictions of the dominant vaccination is our only salvation
narrative. As the focus of my critique of the webinar I state

<blockquote type="cite">Unfortunately in the keynote of the
webinar, Dr. Sachs, dismissed the relevance of any perspectives
that questions the dominant vaccine narrative with the label
anti-vaxxers. In so doing Dr. Sachs is complicit with the
technocratic narrative that creates a new "other" to be excluded
from society.</blockquote>
If you had selected Vandana Shiva as a presenter we would be
having a different conversation. Vandana Shiva has a history of
calling out vaccine producers like Bill Gates and his big pharma
partners at the WHO. She, like Francis in Laudato Si, sees this
technocratic elite as the greatest threat to our planet. (<a

I am concerned with how our society is blindly accepting the
monolithic, top down, dogmatic pronouncements on "science" and
ethics made by the technocratic elite who present neither data nor
argument in support of their position. <a moz-do-not-send="true"
href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d4wUK87otKU&pp=sAQA">In
this link former ethics researcher at the W.H.O., Astrid
Stuckelburger, PhD raises an alarm about the lack of once
present debate on the pronouncements and top down messaging made
by WHO concerning ethics and science.</a> <br>

<p>Basically, this narrative claims vaccination is our only
salvation. Dissenting opinions, the normal hallmark of science,
are being suppressed and censored while our civil liberties,
rights and freedoms are being nullified to the glee of the
indoctrinated authoritarian liberal class. There is a growing
hostility and polarization where any attempt at logical evidence
based critique of the official narrative is characterized by
this class as stupid and immoral. Only the official narrative
is considered acceptable by the corporately owned media(mass
and social). All other narratives are misinformation. Asking
questions is considered immoral and irresponsible. Dr. Sachs
seems to be OK with a new scapegoat, "antivaxers" as a new
class of others to be rejected from society. <br>

Scientific community, yet news worthy items that contradict the
dominant narrative are censored and dissenters are called "snake
oil salesman". The mainstream media is silent on all the law
suits that are in progress regarding violations to our civil

indoctrination has been achieved largely through negative bias,
a natural human condition where we pay more attention to
negative info that may be dangerous. Hence numbers quoted out
of context substantiate and legitimate our fears. So India
having 4500 people dying a day may strike fear in our hearts but
it only becomes accurate when you consider that the population
of India is 1.3 billion. In actuality the death rate from
Covid in India is .03%, well below the global rate of .05%. So
if we say that In India 99.97 % of the population have not died
from Covid we might have a different view of the severity of the
disease. Covid death statistics would make even more sense if
they are related to the overall average death rate, . Check out
how the Covid Pandemic compares with other pandemics in the
included chart.<br>

<p>When you say <span style="font-size:14.0pt">Laudato Si has to
be read with these voices at the forefront, with an ethical
reflection on the morality of letting so many people die."
You here are referencing the negatively biased death
statistics and the daily negative bias we are exposed to in
case counts. This is the first time in history that we have
used viral testing to determine whether we have a disease.
Previously we relied on the presence of visible symptoms to
determine that someone is diseased. </span> The entire third
chapter of Laudato Si, titled, "The Human Roots of the
Ecological Crisis" is about "the dominant technocratic
paradigm". It is a mindset that Francis considers to be the
wrong kind of thinking and the cause of our current alienation
from nature. Yet the wisdom held in this chapter is largely
ignored by church organizations such as yours. <br>

<p>Since the Webinar: <br>
</p>
<ol>
<li>In social and mainstream media I have heard of absolutely no
more about sharing the vaccine or making it available to the
poor. <br>
</li>
<li>The vaccine companies are announcing that they will now
charge more for the vaccine. <br>
</li>
<li>The media are preparing us to have our children under 12
vaccinated. <br>
</li>
<li>Vaccination passports and censorship of all information that
contradicts the official story are being implemented in many
of the large private organizations and media centres. <br>
</li>
<li>Israel which has fully vaccinated 85 % of Israeli citizens
is now calling for further lock-downs, mask wearing and a
third booster jab for Israeli's over 60. </li>
</ol>
<p>Hopefully you have a better idea of what i believe to be the
great contradiction in the Vaccine Equity webinar. Einstein
said that we cannot solve a problem at the same level that it
was created. If the problem is that the poor are bearing the
brunt of the consequences of the Covid pandemic. The solution
must lie not in the vaccination program but within the
billionaire class that are controlling the message and
benefiting from the pandemic in order to increase their power.
We must see the evil in the system for what it is. Again as
Francis say's:</p>

a longer response which I am not able to
give immediately, but just to exonerate
the Jesuit Forum, I just want to clarify
that the webinar was organized solely by
Canadian Jesuits International, of which
I am the Executive Director. The Jesuit
Forum, headed by Mark is a separate
organization and it was not involved at
all in the planning or execution of the
webinar. So they have no responsibility
for any of the issues which you raise. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span
style="font-size:14.0pt"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span
style="font-size:14.0pt">You raise a
number of very different issues Art, which
in fact would need to be analyzed
separately: the question of the medical
safety or not of vaccines; the morality of
vaccinating children; the power and
monopoly of big pharma; the message of
Laudato Si and Technocrats and corporate
greed vis a vis COVID Vaccines. Each of
these need to be examined in their own
right, one does not lead to a conclusion
on the other, or explain the other. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span
style="font-size:14.0pt"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span
style="font-size:14.0pt">Just a couple of
things that would also need to be added to
your list of issues to be discussed: </span></p>
<ul type="disc">
<li class="MsoNormal"> <span
style="font-size:14.0pt">in India at the
peak of the pandemic they were reporting
4,500 deaths per day – but that is only
the official statistic, we know from our
partners on the ground who work in rural
areas and with marginalized populations,
that the numbers are much higher. In
Brazil there are 4,200 deaths per day --
officially. Just last Week I
participated in a meeting with people
who live and work in the Amazon – the
picture they described in terms of
impact of the pandemic in the Amazon was
shocking. The people who told the
stories were not the voices of
“greedy” corporations” – but workers,
teachers, rural leaders who are living
in their skin the effects of the
pandemic with families and whole
villages infected or dead.</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal"> <span
style="font-size:14.0pt">Laudato Si has
to be read with these voices at the
forefront, with an ethical reflection
on the morality of letting so many
people die. And it so happens that
everywhere, even in rich countries, it
is the poor who suffer most the
consequences of COVID both medically and
economically</span></li>

up the institute headed by one of the 4
speakers who presented at the webinar,
Dr. Sunita Sarain from the Centre for
Science and Environment (CSE), <a

you will see that she is very much in
line with the thinking of Vandana Shiva,
who was actually one of the other
options we considered for our webinar </span></li>

Forum<br>
Re: Leaving no one Behind: Vaccine Equity in
the Gobal South </p>
<p>Dear Jenny and Mark</p>
<p>I listened to the webinar " Leave No One
Behind: Vaccine Equity in the Global South"
presented by the Jesuit Forum. I consider
it an important topic for a people of faith
at this time and was pleased to learn that
the Jesuit Forum were going to discuss it.
</p>
<p>I found this webinar was narrowly defined,
framed exactly in the terms of the 24 hour
vaccine advertisement purveyed in the
official media where vaccines provide us
with our only hope for salvation. Vandana
Shiva writes "the health emergency of the
corona virus is inseparable from the health
emergency of extinction, the health
emergency of biodiversity loss, and the
health emergency of the climate crisis. "</p>
<p>Unfortunately in the keynote of the
webinar, Dr. Sachs, dismissed the relevance
of any perspectives that questions the
dominant vaccine narrative with the label
anti-vaxxers. In so doing Dr. Sachs is
complicit with the technocratic narrative
that creates a new "other" to be excluded
from society. Those who question
vaccination as humanities only source of
salvation are anti-vaxxers, morally
reprehensible, a danger to society and not
worthy of any consideration. </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Thus the webinar
proceeded,fully framed in the narrative of
fear being disseminated throughout the
world. This same narrative has expedited the
largest wealth transfer from the poor to the
billionaire class in recorded history. All
the webinar speakers were quick to
acknowledge the role of greedy corporations
in not wanting to share the vaccine with the
poor and powerless. However they were
unable to fathom a level of greed where
powerful players might control and
manipulate information into a narrative that
would greatly increase their power. </p>
<p>In Laudato Si, Francis contests this
limited vision of corporate greed. He says
of the technocrats: </p>

<p>Francis disputes the dogmatic fervor which
prohibits any thinking outside this box
provided by the technocratic elites(WHO,
Anthony Faucci, Bill Gates and our WHO Rep,
Theresa Tam). The technocrats do not have
our best interests at heart. Follow the
money and power relations of the trillion
dollar vaccine industry. Clearly Francis
see's the technocratic mindset leading our
human project in the wrong direction; into
further alienation from the wonder of
creation. </p>
<p>Having taken to heart the words of
Laudato Si I am in dismay at the lack of
solidarity in my Church for those who
question the science of vaccine salvation.
Most egregious of the incongruities in the
vaccine salvation narrative is the logic of
vaccinating children. </p>
<ol type="1" start="1">
<li class="MsoNormal"> The Covid vaccines
are a radically different technology from
vaccines of the past like small pox. We
do not know the long term effects of these
gene therapy vaccines </li>
<li class="MsoNormal"> They have been
approved for emergency use only. Many of
the safety protocols involved in the
vaccine approval process like long term
testing and animal testing have been
eliminated.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal"> Children have a
natural immunity to the Covid virus. The
incidence of children getting sick from
the vaccine is statistically zero.
Natural immunity is the best kind of
immunity.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal"> There is no evidence
that healthy children spread the virus to
adults. </li>
</ol>
<p>These facts only scratch the surface of the
flaws in the utilitarian moral arguments
that justify the criminal behaviour of
injecting into our healthy offspring an
experimental genetic therapy that
manipulates the natural processes in their
bodies to protect an unhealthy older more
privileged population.</p>
<p>Before we make an impotent foray into the
question of global vaccine equity should we
not listen to the thousands of doctors and
medical experts who testify against the
voracity of the narrative that our only
salvation is vaccination? </p>
<p>The question of vaccine equity is far more
complicated than presented in this
webinar. Is there no attempt in the Jesuit
Forum to see this pandemic and its messaging
in the terms laid out in Laudato Si?
Specifically does the Jesuit Forum have the
courage to research and publicly debate the
morality of vaccinating children with this
experimental gene therapy?</p>
