Thank you for your message about the devastating situation unfolding in Israel and Palestine. The decades-long conflict in the region has already exacted too great a toll. The NDP calls on the government of Canada to do everything in its power to ensure the protection of civilians , humanitarian principles, and international law , and to urge Israel to rescind the Gaza evacuation order and allow humanitarian aid to reach civilians. 





My NDP colleagues and I stand with all Palestinians and Israelis who wish for peace, security, and freedom. Our NDP Caucus is of one voice on this matter, and I include here an updated [ https://www.ndp.ca/news/ndp-statement-recent-devastating-events-israel-and-palestine | NDP

Subject: Speak out to stop the ethnic cleansing in Palestine 
Dear Prime Minister Trudeau, 
The people of Palestine have reached a breaking point from the oppression and killings that have gone on there for years. Olive groves burned, children kidnapped and jailed for years, homes and land confiscated, people tortured. Canada should have spoken up long ago and now we must. Israel must be held accountable for it's Occupation and also for the war crimes they are now actively committing, the ethnic cleansing. The behaviour is unconscionable. Canada must condemn these crimes.
