Good morning,
Thank you to everyone for responding. I hope I've included everyone but could you please check that I haven't missed anyone that you copied in an email.

I have booked the Bowen Road Country Grocer boardroom this Thursday, August 15 from 2 to 4 pm for our first meeting. The address for the Country Grocer store is actually 1800 Dufferin Cres and the board room is upstairs with access from the side of their coffee shop.

There hasn't been a decision yet on the venue yet for Saturday, September 21st so that will depend on the plan we come up with at this meeting on Thursday.

Please feel free to invite representatives from other organizations or faith groups to the planning meeting.

Warmest greetings, Joan

Dear Friends,
It looks like there is a sizable group interested in planning a gathering for the International Day of Peace on Saturday, September 21st!

A few of us from the Baha'i Community met briefly yesterday to talk about our availability for planning meetings. I've copied Joey Lougheed, Allan Fuller, Lewis Beck and Paul Ojermark on this email, and Lewis said he would forward it to his friend, Cherie, who has worked on some Peace events recently. All of us are available on Thursdays afternoons. Would 2 or 3 pm work for others?

If that time is good for most others, I can check tomorrow with Country Grocer about using their boardroom to meet this Thursday, August 15th.

Does anyone have a contact for the local Muslim, Sikh and Hindu communities? It would be nice to include them, especially considering the recent hostilities in the UK!

Please extend this invitation for the planning group to representatives from other organizations or faith groups that would be interested in collaborating.

Warmest greetings! Joan Borsa
