Like many of us, Keith was/is deeply troubled by the escalating wars and felt the need to Do Something. When I received his email, I was also feeling despair, helpless and guilty for my life of security & privilege here on Vancouver Island, so I responded with an impulsive "Yes I'm in". </p><p style="margin:0cm 0cm 0.0001pt 36pt;font-size:11pt;font-family:"calibri",sans-serif"><br></p><p style="margin:0cm 0cm 0.0001pt 36pt;font-size:11pt;font-family:"calibri",sans-serif">Many discussions ensued and now, with support from MP Gord Johns and other advisors, <span style="font-size:11pt">the PeaceTrain group has come up with an e-Petition </span><span style="font-family:"arial","helvetica",sans-serif;font-size:small">which asks our government to enable Canada to take an active role as a peace-keeping country by establishing a peace centre that would promote research, training, conflict resolution, diplomacy - - - finding ways to work towards peace globally.</span></p><p style="margin:0cm 0cm 0.0001pt 36pt;font-size:11pt;font-family:"calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"arial","helvetica",sans-serif;font-size:small">I am asking for your support by signing this e-Petition.
