Dear friends,
I wonder if we can leave off with the wild and intricate conspiracy theories about the coronavirus? Can we we just try to remain aware of the rapidity of COVID spread and the numbers we know about of people who have died (over 1 1/2 million world wide, nearly 4K in Ontario)? In the US, there are nearly 3,000 people dying daily.  Many US hospitals are filled to overflowing. In Canada, we are looking at the possible need for field hospitals in Alberta and Ontario to take up the overflow from our busiest hospitals.  Many people who have had COVID are left with long-term abiding health problems, including some young people and children.  To refer to all of this as a "great hoax" is misleading and also insensitive to the suffering of the great many people who have endured or are living with the virus.  If there's some thought that Bill Gates is a co-conspirator in a global murder scheme, perhaps we can leave that for a later discussion.
