In 2020 Canada passed legislation to implement the United Nations
Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples in Canada, UNDIP. This is
to provide us with a road map to advance lasting reconciliation  with
Indigenous Peaples and to address the wrongs of the past.
The link will bring you to a forum of people from various walks of life,
doctors, lawyers, scientists and elders who discuss the way forward through
different ways of knowing.  You may be interested in listening to it.  A
warning, it's about 2 hours long but will give you a good look at the
landscape involved.

Nancy Turner *on relationships to land and with each other across ways of
knowing and ways of being as Peoples living on these lands.
