*You are eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine!* We are inviting patients
40+ (born in or before 1981) to a vaccine clinic on *Saturday April
24th *through
our Family Health Team at the *Wellesley-St. Jamestown Health Centre (95
Homewood Avenue).*  At present, the clinic is giving the AstraZeneca
vaccine.

We encourage you to please take your first chance to get vaccinated*. A
vaccine may save your life, and it will definitely contribute to saving
lives in your community*. This is because all the vaccines reduce spread of
the disease and are amazingly effective at keeping people exposed to
COVID-19 out of hospital. Right now, we have no more space in hospitals.
Taking a vaccine at your first opportunity means protecting space in
hospital for somebody who needs it.

booking your vaccine appointment.*

*Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes prior to your scheduled
appointment. *You will be required to wait at least 15 minutes after
receiving your vaccine. Please allow 1 hour for this appointment.

*Only those with scheduled appointments will be allowed to enter. *Please
do not bring any additional people to your appointment as they will not be
allowed in. Exceptions will be made for those who have a language barrier
or a significant mobility issue.
