[Sundaycommunity] Vandana Shiva: "Keep Big Tech out of life sciences"

Hi all

I believe that two of the greatest defenders of our future from the 
powers of Technocracy are Dr. Mercola and Vandana Shiva.    At a time 
when most "real" journalists; {Chris Hedges, Glen Greenwald,  Max 
Blumenthal and Jimmy Dor} are commenting on how the mass media is 
manufacturing consent, Mercola and Shiva are blazing the trail to a new 
narrative.

  Dr. Mercola a vocal foe to Big Pharma and the poisoning of the natural 
systems that support life.   As such there is a strong campaign to 
discredit him.  He provides scientific analysis and debates the findings 
of big Pharma and less monetized studies in the life sciences.  He has 
his own peer reviewed papers.

Vandana Shiva is credited with bringing down Monsantos, producers of 
roundup, a Chemical giant that is now bankrupt from a class action law 
suits.  She stopped the patenting of seeds in India.

They both sit on the steering committee for Regeneration International 
<https://regenerationinternational.org/our-network/>, an international 
organization promoting regenerative agriculture.  Vandana Shiva 
describes this organization as "Regenerative agriculture provides 
answers to the soil crisis, the food crisis, the climate crisis, and the 
crisis of democracy." This message is in sync with the message of 
Laudato Si and highlights our common interest in food which we can 
mobilize and transform our lifestyles to increase our mutuality and 
connectivity to all on the planet.

Below that is another resource on Vandana Shiva where she describes how 
science is transforming from a mechanistic/control understanding of 
nature to a quantum/connectedness  view of nature.  Excellent resource 
for class rooms.
