Hi Everyone,
I am passing along to you Dwyer's update on Fr. Bob which was sent today, Dec. 14.

Dwyer's Message:Hello all,
 Fr. Norm visited Bob both yesterday and today at 10 AM. He also gets reports from Hobo's nephew (?) John who is a doctor at the Hospital.
Norm reports Hobo is more lucid and aware , but it is hard sometimes for him to make connections between what he hears and what he says.  It is hard for him to respond because his throat is very dry. He is now being fed through a feeding tube in his nose, because he has found it hard to swallow (possibly due to a long-lasting phlegm problem that both he and I seem to have in our throats). Dr. Johh says the antibiotics are working, but it is a SLOW process and only expect to see results from week to week, not day to day. Norm said please do not try to phone. It would be hard for him to reach the phone and even harder to talk. He will let me know when a call may be warranted. Fr. Norm will be visiting Hobo again tomorrow (Weds) at 11AM and I will send a message again tomorrow about this time.
