[Sundaycommunity] CHRISTMAS EVE LITURGY PROGRAM

Greetings everyone,
Fr/ Bob Holmes was scheduled to celebrate this liturgy with us, but remains in hospital in serious condition.  Yesterday a message went out that he perhaps would not live much longer, but then there was a follow-up message that his condition was stable.  Keep praying.
Fr. Prakash Lohale, OP, has kindly agreed to celebrate the Eucharist with us on Zoom for Christmas Eve.  Fr. Prakash has joined us for the Sunday liturgy on a couple of occasions. The PROGRAM for the Christmas Eve liturgy is attached. It includes an outline of the service, as well as the lyrics for songs and responses.
Please note the timing:    * 5:15 PM (EST): the service begins with some instrumental Christmas music, followed by the ceremonial candle lighting, and then the beginning of Mass.

    * Please plan to join the Zoom call before the service begins, from about 5:00 PM onwards.

This is our second year to have our Christmas liturgy on Zoom.  This wretched pandemic continues to disrupt the normal flow of life and relationship.  Nonetheless, this gathering in community that we do from a distance is a very precious time for us.
