Hi Community,
Dwyer left for Australia yesterday and his friend Tim will be providing updates on Hobo (Fr. Bob) from time to time. This message from Tim was sent out this afternoon, Dec. 27.

Hey Good People
 
With Dwyer having left to visit Paul Micah, I will reach out to Fr. Norm Tanck every 2-3 days or so and send out an update.
 
This was Norm's message to me today - much sounding positive.
 
Bob was moved from the Step Up Unit (3 beds and a nurse) to a private room. The hospital seems to have increased their covid precaution. At least on Bob’s floor, a gown, mask, and gloves need be worn
 
Bob was alert and responsive when I called his name. I told him some of the people that were asking for him, and he seemed to recognize the names and usually said “That’s good.”
 
Because of the holiday weekend, there has been only a few medical people around, so I have nothing medical to report.
 
When I left him about an hour ago, he was watching women’s curling on TSN. Well, he was looking at the TV.
