Roswita, I read through all/most of the information.  IT IS disgusting to me.  How could I do something that helps it?  How could I/WE change things?  I am a person who does understand that things must be changed.  How could I/WE do it?

Friends,

Received this item which may be of interest. It includes resources provided by the Ursulines of Chatham and the US Catholic Sisters Against Human Trafficking.

Subject: International Day of Prayer & Awareness Against Human Trafficking

To our dear Becoming Neighbours friends,

As you know, tomorrow February 08 is the Feast of St. Josephine Bakhita, the Patron Saint of victims and survivors of human trafficking. It is a world day of reflection, prayer and action that the dignity and well-being of all may be respected and honoured. We have "pulled together" resources that we hope will act as a catalyst for your own awareness, advocacy and action. Special thanks to the Ursulines of Chatham and the US Catholic Sisters Against Human Trafficking for sharing their resources.

*)  Marathon of Prayer - "An economy without human trafficking” is an event provided through a network of partners in collaboration with TALITHA KUM. Participate in a 7-hour online gathering which will include prayers and testimonies from international voices of those engaged in work to end trafficking.  https://preghieracontrotratta.org/?lang=en
*)  Write for Rights. A video produced by Ursuline College Chatham featuring OSU sisters and UCC students collaborating together in the annual Amnesty International letter writing campaign. Amnesty, a partner the Ursulines have supported for many years through both letter writing and funding, includes trafficking issues within its mission. Upon receiving a copy of the video, staff expressed how much this collaboration means: “We truly couldn’t do the important human rights work that we do here at Amnesty International without this incredible support...You have inspired us to do even more in our efforts to protect and promote human rights for all people.”  https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gw2pUyCsx3joTDuc0DGClGTN1b9B83Gd/view?usp=sharing

*) Stop Trafficking Awareness, Advocacy and Action. An anti-human trafficking newsletter prepared by the US Catholic Sisters Against Human Trafficking. Please find the very important January 2021 newsletter attached.  *) Reflective Prayer for International Day of Prayer and Awareness Against Human Trafficking In prayerful solidarity and united with you to end all forms of human trafficking,
