[Sundaycommunity] deVeber Institute Lecture Series on Bill C7 and Palliative Care

Thanks, Zoe, for forwarding this information to us.  Certainly a personal
issue for many of us as we are facing these issues at this time of our
lives!

Being a member of the disabled community, I can only add that MAID
provisions are deeply disturbing to people with disabilities and their
allies.  At this time, the Ontario government is proposing changes to the
Health Care and Consent Act.  Once again, important decisions about the
health care received are being changed.  For more information about this,

(This is in addition to the concern about deeply held suspicions that our
"triage protocol" excludes disabled persons from access to life-saving
