[Sundaycommunity] TODAY, FEB 24th, IS THE FEAST DAY OF SAINT OSCAR ROMERO, AND THIS IS A VERY "ROMERIAN" COMMUNITY

Brenda, there would the day he was assassinated as he was saying Mass.
Also, the day he died in the hospital a few days later.
The day of your "birth into heaven" is what they usually use.
But the Ave Maria Centre of Peace out in Etobicoke gifted me with a
Catholic Faith Calendar 2021 and it has a St. Ethelbert and St. Oscar
Romero as the saints for Wednesday, FEB 24.
I skimmed the Wiki entry for what it said was his feast day but didn't see
where they dealt with it.
My saints' calendar has St. Karin of Sweden as the one and only saint for
MARCH 24.
