Hi everyone,
The matter addressed in this public letter which I am forwarding to you is an important one for our society and for us personally.
We are in our late-seventies and we live in a seniors' apartment building. This is not Long-Term Care, but who knows? We could need long-term care at some point. I have always been concerned about the low level of funding, staffing and care at many of these seniors' long-term care facilities, but now, during the COVID crisis, it is fully and publicly apparent what the awful, disgusting and deadly consequences are to this long-term neglect of people in long-term care. . As this open letter says, there is a need for action, and it needs to be URGENT ACTION. Please consider signing the letter.
