[Sundaycommunity] MUSIC PROGRAM for Sunday January 17

Hello Brian,

I had not heard about bad actions by David (?) Haas I do know that Barbara
Bauer-Mazone(?), our terrific and influential Religion department head at
St. Mike's Stratford invited him in to teach the whole school that last
song you played today, Brian.

 It was because that song paraphrases the school (and Camp Micah) motto:
"Act justly, Love tenderly and Walk humbly with your God" (Micah 6:8)  It
is one of my favorite songs, even though I can not now recall the exact
title, but I can remember that that theme was used at 2 our children's
weddings and that we have a son, a grandson and and granddaughter named
Micah.

The question often arises, whether songs, plays, movies, etc should
continue to be enjoyed after the composer has been accused of some
crime/misdoing, etc. It was brought home to me with the severe
accusations against Jean Vanier whom I so admired - and still do for the
amazing good he did for so many .
