3 times a week, at 7 pm I gather with a group of people for christian meditation on zoom, so we can "be present" with that intention
The other days I certainly be there at 7pm for Sheila and Luck "with" the community

I do not use Zoom. I am proposing we aim to sit down in a quiet place each in our own home at 7 p.m. and give ourselves over to prayer, in whatever form we feel most comfortable.

I am aware there is a range of religious expression, from traditional prayers to contemporary inclusive language compositions. I respect people wherever they may be on that spectrum.

What is important is that we gather with intent to focus on health and blessings for Sheila and Luke (and ourselves in the process).

I will compile a list of emails of those who have “signed up” in order to send out a reminder message around 6:30 tonight.

Earlier tonight, I had an opportunity to speak with Rita just as she returned from delivering home-made soup to Sheila and Luke.

I was so relieved to hear that Sheila has been stable for the past month and is eating some foods.

The thought which immediately came to me is that we as a community need to uplift these two with prayer. Prayers for health and strength for Sheila and for Luke as caregiver.

I would like to suggest we commit to joining together every evening at 7 p.m. for the next 12 days. It need not be for long – even five or ten minutes of focussed prayer. What is important is that we commit to joining together at the same time.

Please let me know if you would like to join in.
