Thank you for your enthusiastic response. I am gratified to see that so many are interested.
If anyone else would like to join us, would you please let me know.
I am planning to compile a list of emails of those who have “signed up” in order to send out a reminder message around 6:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, you might want to identify a quiet spot in your home, away from radio, TV, computer screen, ringing telephone, barking dog, etc. where you can sit down for some quiet time.

Friends,
Earlier tonight, I had an opportunity to speak with Rita just as she returned from delivering home-made soup to Sheila and Luke.
I was so relieved to hear that Sheila has been stable for the past month and is eating some foods.
The thought which immediately came to me is that we as a community need to uplift these two with prayer. Prayers for health and strength for Sheila and for Luke as caregiver.
I would like to suggest we commit to joining together every evening at 7 p.m. for the next 12 days. It need not be for long – even five or ten minutes of focussed prayer. What is important is that we commit to joining together at the same time.
Please let me know if you would like to join in.
