[Sundaycommunity] Fwd: Our Community Prayer

HI, folks,

I was of the understanding that the cycle of prayer was based on the old
tradition of the novena.  Being very much a Vatican 11 Catholic, I am not
very familiar with the old ways.  I remember Gerry Tannam getting visibly
annoyed when I asked him about the rosary during one of our instruction
sessions.  He gave me a good history pointing out that it came out of the
illiteracy of the MIddle Ages.  I am not that familiar with novenas
either.  As a recipient, I felt the power of the energy process that you,
Lindsay and Liz were involved when I was in St. MIke's in 2019.  I am of
the belief that both Sheila and Luke feel the love of the community - both
in prayers for those of us who can't drop off groceries, meals, etc. and
the very real help some members of the community have given them.
