[Sundaycommunity] Fw: CCCB statement re Indigenous

I actually saw this statement a few days (I am a subscriber to the website,
through my use of their daily readings online) and was so irritated I just
dismissed it.  This lack of information about the dead children is a sign
to me that nobody thought these children were as much children of God as
those who were white and Christian.  I am beginning to wonder if there are
any records.  I keep praying that somebody, either in the church or the
government will take up the task of trying to find out whatever they can
about these buried children.

There was a time in my life as a Catholic that statements from the bishops
challenged me in every way to live justly according to the many teachings
of Jesus.
