We probably have lots of good saints close to home who we could and should
be praying to.
For example, SAINT [just canonized by me] Katie of Oakville. My sister
Sue's first of quite a few great losses, if we exclude the completely
unexpected death of her father when she was 7, near 8.
Her second child, born in Nov. of 1972. Died of the ever mysterious and
devastating "crib death" in Feb. of 1973.
They had her outside in the baby carriage all bundled up against the cold.
Outside the kitchen window where they could keep an eye on her.
Phil was getting something at a nearby shopping mall and walked her over
with him. And I guess at some point they thought she should be waking up
and she wasn't.

How ever could they have known sooner that she was in difficulty and woken
her up ???
________
As for my canonizing her, how could she possibly have ever sinned, apart
from the "original" one?
And is not Jesus, Who was able to have Peter walking on water for a time,
capable of finding a way around the mainly intellectual impediment that
that concept presents? [image: 🙂]
