Dear friends this is the message from my friend's wife whose husband is
being treated for the brain tumors related to leukemia. He has had to
suspend his business and I know they have limited means and the chemo drug
he is on is not covered by OHIP therefore if you are able to make a
donation this would be greatly appreciated and go a long way to enabling
him to recover. The gofundme link is found below.
Thank you all for your generosity and prayers.

Dear Friends,
Last Saturday marked 5 weeks since Greg's trip to Emergency at Michael
Garron Hospital.
I was able to visit Greg last Tuesday and Friday of this past week. He
started his Chemo treatment
on around the 24th February. My visit last Tuesday was a wide mix of
things as I accompanied
him to Xray and Ultrasound checks then at his room we had a lovely phone
chat with Sophia
our daughter and her boyfriend and Greg was very open and enjoying the
chat. He then chatted
briefly with our friend Rod on the phone and again was visibly moved to
feel some connection with
people outside his 'Hospital' world. When it was time for me to leave we
spent a little time connecting
and Greg looked at me and said 'Thank you from the bottom of my heart'. My
eyes were both full
with love and tears at the sincerity of Greg's words - this coming from a
man who is so often busy
playing the 'trickster' or 'the 'joker'. I think a lot of you know the
Trickster in Greg Barsoski. In that
moment I could honestly hear Greg speaking directly from his heart. In a
spiritual group I was once
in we were sometimes asked before closing of our session to not just share
but 'share from our heart'
In this very linear world this is a skill that often gets dismissed for
whatever reason. I can only say
It was beyond incredible to witness such words of sincerity on this day.
When I saw Greg last Friday he was somewhat withdrawn but wanted me to give
me a foot massage
which he took in deeply as I played some Music that I know he loves on my
phone. He seemed
to savour it all and I was happy to be able to help foster this deeper
connection of healing touch
with Music and soul connection.
I'm seeing Greg later today. There have been many 'Hospital' issues to
deal with this week, too
numerous to mention.
I'm grateful to have these incredible moments that just melt my heart with
gratitude. This eases the
sense of strain of what we're dealing with. I'm also reminding Greg there
is an Army of people
supporting me and giving me strength and faith to keep going.🌹
