Roberto, I have had a lot of death in my life, starting with my Dad, who
was never sick, dying completely unexpectedly in the dark of early or mid
morning and being gone before we 3 kids knew what had hit us.

So I've given it a lot more thought to death than probably many, even
though I have never had anything that threatened my life seriously other
than momentarily.

For most of my life I have "sat on my hands", and I now read Jesus saying
He did not grant long lives to people for them to do nothing and then
sprint the last 100 yards into Heaven.

Feeling better about my prospects now that I am closer to doing all I can
possibly do.

If He thinks it better me alive or dead, I stay or go as it pleases Him,
confident that, now that I am seriously trying to walk with Him, the time
He picks for me to go has to be the best possible time for all concerned.
Me, my family and everyone my living or dying impacts in any way.

"Everything You do, Lord, is well done. Into Your hands, we commend our
spirits."

        Brian S.
