[Sundaycommunity] Further to Your "Compassion & Karma" Thoughts

John, you both amaze and lose me with your mental flights on planes higher
than I travel in.

But I can relate to your reflection on a more grounded, "personal
experience" level, if I may share yet another of my poems.

This one both a tribute to and a plea for the step-father that God gave
Sue, Maureen and me to replace the father he suddenly called home to Him.

OUR GE MANAGER/PISCES
STEPFATHER, “JACK” DORIS

Mother’s boy
Bachelor boy
Man of 43

“Turtles”-bearing suitor
I make him no. "3"

Our rescuer from poverty
A man of bravery

The pastor warned
Her younger two
Would come
But grudgingly.

He gave us
2 more siblings
Then worried "unity"?

We split
But not the way
You’d think
Across the bot
You see

If drinking gets you

Through The Gate

He had a “Pearly” fate.

But if does not
“Mercy” we plore

Please take him in
Through Heaven's door

As he took us
To Cres Ri-shor

Compassion For
Compassion Been.
