Apochraphal In Ephesus

Today’s reading

Responsorial Psalm

Psalm 118(119):53,61,134,150,155,158 ©

Give me life, O Lord, and I will do your will.

Today’s psalm lead me to relive an afternoon of walking through the town of Ephesus in Turkey. It was a month before the coup a few years ago.

The remains of the a grand setting during the Greek Period. It was in my mind to go to where the athletes trained to show the spirits there the great game the people of the Netherlands call apochraphal . Centuries later it became golf.

One strolls past the facade of the great library. The the market where one could by idols to the god Zeus and other gods.

Beside the market was an extraordinary living quarters designed like the top flours of our condominiums. Truly luxurious ,

Then onto the Amphitheatre. I stood on the grand podium holding my SEPTOR to dance the orbit of Apochraphal when a wondrous voice arose. Four French young women were sitting about thirty rows up. A black women started singing and all joined in. I didn’t know French but was drawn in to sing.

I came also to feel the presence of St. Paul . He spoke of the worshiping of the One God and the futility of idols . His life was in great danger from the merchants.

Charmed I walked west and set up my instructions to show the SEPTOR in orbit . It was by the athletes area but on the road to the harbour.

A class of young Germans in a tour came out of the Amphitheatre and asked me to show them the swing .

I talked of dancing the orbit and the God’s galaxy orientation of the linear force. G. O. L. F. We are meant to dance the orbit of love.
