Dear Sunday Community,

Yesterday afternoon (Monday September 20th) after 12 days, I was discharged
from hospital. It is nice to be back in my own room, but I am quite weak
and have a long recovery ahead including some extra medications, and follow
up visits and procedures with a couple of other doctors. Thanks for all
your prayers and concerns while I was in the hospital. I did not respond to
most as it was too draining and continues to be so. I am still trying to
avoid phone calls and e-mails - I had way too many in the hospital and they
are exhausting.
Even small tasks these days seem daunting.

I will not be able to do any masses or ministry for the remainder of 2021.
I am not sure what 2022 holds - I make no plans anymore.
