EMAIL # 1:

Hello Good People

I received this message from Norm Tanck earlier today.

Bob was transferred to Providence Healthcare on Wednesday andhas begun rehab. I have talked with him a couple of times now and he is doingwell.

You can call him through Providence. He is in Unit B-4. . He canbe called through Providence, 416-285-3666.

Bob has his i-Pad but can’t remember his access code. So hecan’t get to his email yet. All his codes are in his i-Pad.

Land mail can be sent to

Robert K. Holmes

EMAIL # 2:

I responded to Norm to ask about visitors, so wanted to tryand summarize my sense of things now.

   - Visitors. At Providence, He is able to have two visitors per day. You would have to call Providence to make those arrangements. Norm did ask for a little patience initially, and that at least one space be kept for Basilians and Family. Peter Haresnape has offered to do some organizing of this. Peter - I will reach out to you with a separate email so that I can put you in touch with Norm.
   - Phoning. It looks like we can reach out to him by phone. I think that a little restraint seems in order - we all can't call right away - for Hobo's sake, and out of respect for the limits of the facility. I am not going to attempt to help and organize this - I am offering a friendly suggestion - Maybe those people who are planning to call can plan on making one phone call at some time this month????? An idea. There may come a time in the rehab process where this is not a big deal or an imposition. I will try and reach out myself with a phone call closer to the end of the month.
   - email. It looks like personal emails have some obstacles at this point as Hobo is unable to access his i-pad. The previous email includes an address for old fashioned letters/cards

Regarding furtherupdates. I will still keep in touch with Norm and send out an updateto this group again in a week or so. As Hobo's rehab progresses, and we areable to connect by phone and visits, that might not need to be somethingcontinuing too much longer - we will see. In terms of visits, I will connectPeter with Norm Tanck - I am not able to help out at this time with organizingvisits, so hopefully Peter will be able to be in touch with a separate email.(Thanks for your kind offer, Peter)

I am so glad that things haveimproved fairly steadily for HOBO. I look forward to visiting him myself andtalking on the phone later this month. Norm always reminds me that there isstill a long road ahead. I know that Hobo has so much support from so manypeople. I think that we can connect gradually in the next little while and Ianticipate that you may hear more on that from Peter soon.

Peace,

Tim
