A great article, Patricia!  I hope some priests get to read it.
I also hope the Synod process will help priests and bishops and cardinals
to listen better as they read the responses to things that they may
disagree with. Listening attentively and with an unbiased attitude is
healing for both, especially the listener. It happened to me in my
chaplaincy work.
