Hi Sunday Community folks,
Here is another update on Fr. Bob Holmes, "HOBO", from Tim.
Still slow progress, but progress nonetheless.  It is now possible to phone Bob.
Keep the prayers moving.

Hello Good People,

Another update on Hobo's progress, and the news remains positive. This message from Norm was passed on to me by Hobo's niece, Janna.
"Bob is doing well at Providence. You can reach him on his cellphone 416-566-6006. He is still not eating. They will begin therapy on his throat muscles.

I took him to St. Mike's on Thursday to see his infectious disease doctor, Taggart. She said Bob has progressed well. But, just to be on the safe, said she will continue the antibiotics a little longer. Bob can have one visitor a day. If it is OK with you I would like to tell his friends that they can visit on Wednesdays and Fridays and the other days are for Basilians and family.”

I will send a separate email to Peter to see if he is willing to help and organize that. If he is good with that, then he will probably reach out through this email chain.
Norm suggested that phoning is going smoothly - so we should feel comfortable proceeding with calls.

With the news that folks can reach out to Hobo over the phone and gradually through visits - I think I will pause on any updates unless I hear some important news, which of course I will share.

I am happy that the news has gotten progressively better.
