I noticed some emails on our SC feed in which people are wondering how Bob Holmes is doing. I don't think Dwyer will mind my forwarding this upbeat message about his phone call with Bob.

Hope you are all doing well, but I can't contain myself with happiness after talking with Hobo for 10 minutes this morning.He seems fully aware of what is happening and recognizes that his memory is beginning to come back. He is appreciating the physio he is receiving 2 times a day. He said he has lost weight and strength and gets out of breath just going the length of the corridor. He does attempt to climb stairs everyday because he does hope to get back to his own house on Sackville when he leaves where he is. He does read the newspaper daily, has been enjoying the Olympics, is receiving one visitor a day and is looking forward to recovering his strength and memory.  He is still being fed intravenously which probably doesn't supply his staples of bread, bacon and beer.It was such a joy hearing his voice fairly strong and knowing his memory and strength are recovering.
