[Sundaycommunity] Covid booster shot

Hi, all,

I have had numerous responses to my question yesterday about the side
effects to the Moderna vaccine booster.  (It seems Pfizer is being reserved
for small children.)  Thanks so much to everybody who responded.  Somebody
(not from Hamilton) even gave me a reference to a walk-in clinic for the
disabled!  (It was Sharon McCarthy.)  Before the holidays I had a hard time
finding a booking, as did my son-in-law and just about everybody I know in
Toronto,  When I went back on the booking site after the holidays there
were lots of spaces.  In particular the former movie theatre in the open
air mall 2 blocks from my house was being used as a place to give the
shots.  There were dozens of people there, and even as many managing the
process.  I saw firemen, who were giving out treats to the kids, and the
woman who actually gave me the shot is a cardiologist who teaches at
McMaster.  A broad community effort to get this rolling!

After spending most of yesterday in bed, I am feeling fine today and back
to my usual level of activity.  Having managed to take down and wrap up the
Christmas decorations, I have to-do list of projects to get me settled into
this house (inside).  Good news on the ramp front, as Leo has found a
contractor who really wants the work, is not dependent on a shortage of
supplies . . .
