[Anne-Marie Montgomery]

Hello everyone, this is Anne Marie's son Laurence. I am writing on her
behalf because she is resting after having spent a week in the hospital.

We have been able to bring her home (her most important wish) and have
assembled a palliative care team to provide end-of-life care. She is
sleeping peacefully most of the time and is generally lucid when she is
awake, though has some difficulty expressing herself. There has been talk
of 'going to heaven, hopefully', so she is oriented and understands that
she is not going to be recovering.

Her speaking voice has become faint and we don't always understand what
she means. That said, *she seems to want to speak with -  or have a visit
from -  "Father Jack... a Jesuit"*. I am hoping that someone in this group
will know who Father Jack is so I can get in touch if possible.

She is not able to speak on the phone but I am happy to read any emails to
her.  She is also enjoying reading cards that people are sending, (although
we are suffering a surfeit of flowers).. Our mailing address is:
