  *Educating nuns/sisters about their rights and protecting them from
abuse: eight videos now on our Youtube channel. *

Voices of Faith has been addressing the issue of exploitation and abuse of
religious sisters for some time. A video series will help explain
situations and factors that can lead to various forms of abuse of
vulnerable sisters.

The aim is to educate Catholic nuns/sisters about their rights and how they
can protect themselves from abuse and avoid a number of specific risks they
face in their position as nuns.

All eight videos focus on some of the most vulnerable situations in a nun's
life and help to understand how to spot the signs of possible abuse.

has announced the launch of an international survey of Catholic women.

The online survey, released in six languages on Tuesday 8 March 2022
(International Women’s Day), will gather feedback from Catholic women
around the world. It will provide data for a submission for the XVI
Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops, “For a Synodal Church:
Communion, Participation and Mission.”
