After Mass today there was a brief discussion about ways to support Ukraine.

I have been following the Ukraine situation continuously since the invasion. From what I have read, the best way to do is by donation to the major charities with a proven record in humanitarian and disaster relief.

Below I have pasted the links to 4 of them.

There are two categories of items which are sorely needed: medical supplies and firefighting equipment. The University Health Network is assembling a shipment of medical supplies while fire stations in the Niagara region and in Alberta are sending firefighting gear. See links below.
I question the wisdom of attempting to send used clothes.
