Hi Art!
Is it that you want the freedom to post things to this community but don't
want to be questioned about them? Can we be clear about this?
You seem to feel free to pass judgment and to state publicly that I am
suffering from cognitive dissonance when perhaps it is simply that we have
a difference of opinion.  At no point did I say those 2000 doctors don't
count - just that there are other doctors that count too. Is it that
frightening to you that others don't see it the way you do that you start
off your email with a quote from Mark Twain that presupposes you are
dealing with people that have been fooled?!  Or seem to have the need to
make claims like "fact checkers recruited and paid for by  criminal
fraudsters"? I am not sure Nelson Poynter would take that too kindly....
When my sister was in desperate need of good chemo drugs I didn't ask her
to consider the business she was supporting. I am grateful Pfizer was there
and I can also ask them to be investigated for fraud in an approved court
of law.  That isn't cognitive dissonance, just the sense of knowing good
drugs when you see them.
If you want to post and not be questioned please state that. It would make
things a lot clearer.

Ahh yes... The Truth will set you free. But believing you possess the truth
can lead you astray!
