Truth in Nature- a Hallelujah call

God entering creation with caring love .
Not As Edgar Rice Burroughs the Tarzan howl
but Francis of Assisi silent moment .

A fair grey furred female coyote passed through our dog Angel and then me at about 1 am as we were setting ourselves at first tee at our golf course. She lightly brushed Angel and with her soft fur did the same with me. Dog and man stunned in stillness shared a long look.

A hallelujah call months earlier shaped the moment .

Now I've heard there was a secret chord that Nature played, and it pleased the Lord. Angel and I listened by a murmuring creek on the far side of a tiny bridge .
It goes like this, the fourth, the fifth
the minor fall, the fluttering major lift.
The howling Coyotes plaintiff calling out
Nature’s own hallelujah.

My soul was moved by that welcoming call
a spirit’s breath was drawn and it joined to all by calling out that secret chord .

And so both came speeding down our way. Two coyotes going to meet dog and man .
Then in silence the female off in space felt the chord attract and the bond was formed and all thanked the lord.
Hallelujah

John

Marianne shaped the silence.
Leonard Cohen ,in chord and words ,adopted in his Hallelujah lyrics.
