John Scan here. Some years back when Ukraine
sought it own freedom Russia allowed Ukraine
to be free so long that it did not ask to join NATO.
The Ukraine President agreed.
Ukraine changed leaders. The new leaders have
tried to join NATO. It had the right to choose its
own defences. Art wrote that Ukraine
agreed not to do it back when it was set up.
Russian citizens were building up in Ukraine .
What we have now is the result.
Remember back in October 1962
when Russia set up its alliance in Cuba.
I keep asking what was Ukraine thinking trying
to join NATO with Russia on its border.
We know and see the result.
Well, Ukraine is being ravaged, NATO is preparing
to defend itself and Russia ,isolated is looking
to Iran for assistance.
Georgia , a neighbour with Russia tried to open
up its economic ties with the U. S.
President Bush visited Georgia. Russia forces
entered Georgia.
God help us
