Hello,

Many of you know that for many years I have had the pleasure of sorting books for the Annual Roncesvalles United Church book sale.This year, the church has a new addition.  I am sharing here the signs that accompany the new mural, which takes up the entire North transept. I have also included a close-up of one small part of the mural. It’s presence makes a difference, even to basic book sorting. It is really worth a visit, for the picture itself and also for the opening it provides into other possibilities for all of us. Or at least that’s what I think.

This minister, the Reverend Anne Haines is a prophetic voice. This weekend, in addition to Sundays, the church will be open from around 10 to 4 so people who choose to come to the church flea market can also come in to the book sale.
