Dear Mary Lou,
I know that things are more confusing for you especially since the assault
and then Covid. That’s why you have Richard and Theresa and Michael and
Vince and me and others who really love you and want to help you in
whatever way we can. I do love you too and having worked with you for so
many years I feel like I know the Mary Lou before the brain injury. But you
know what? I love you as you are now. That’s the Mary Lou I really know and
love.
I encourage you to trust the good friends that God has provided for you.
They love you and want what’s best for you. And so do I.
As for God’s plan in all this, perhaps it’s all perfectly fine with God
just how things are. We think things need to be perfect but God didn’t make
life perfect. Sometimes the rose is a bit bent but it still smells
beautiful!  Just like you and all of us.
