[Sundaycommunity] MUSIC PROGRAM for Sunday September 10

Hi Everyone,
As usual, Sylvia has put together the music for this coming Sunday, September 10, the 23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time, and I am attaching a copy of the program with the songs and responses. Paul McAuley will be joining us as our Presider for the Mass.
September 10th begins our annual year of Sunday Community liturgies, which will continue right through to the end of June 2024.
NOTE that we are scheduling ONE SUNDAY PER MONTH as a Hybrid Liturgy, to be celebrated in-person at the school, Msgr Fraser Annex, but with a Zoom connection for those who are further away or unable to attend in person.  Our first two Hybrid Liturgies will be September 17 -- NEXT SUNDAY -- and October 15th.
A small group of us gathered at the school last week to check things out physically, in terms of finding our stuff and figuring out how to set up the room, but also to check out the Wi-Fi and how our equipment would work from that location.  We were assisted in this by those who dialed in on Zoom: Art, in B.C.; Sylvia, from Thunder Bay, Ontario; Mike Watson from his work location in Toronto; and Bill Watson, who joined us for 20 minutes or so from St. Michael's Hospital, in Toronto, wearing his hospital scrubs.
Sylvia, Mike and I will continue this week to check out our microphone system and how best to work the Zoom audio settings.
On Sunday Sept. 17th, Sylvia and I will both be present at the in-person liturgy. Sylvia will lead the music from there; Mike will provide his instrumental contribution from his home base; I will oversee setting up the camera and microphone, and assist Sylvia with the music.  Jack Costello will be present at the school as our Priest Presider. We will count on all of you, whether present in-person or on Zoom, to give us your feedback and suggestions following this first foray into the "hybrid" world.
