Hi Sunday Community,
Liz Whelan and I have just had a long conversation about Sunday's liturgy, and about the email that she sent out a little while ago, (followed by another email saying to disregard the first one).  I am now sending out Liz's first email again, with a few editing changes, as basic instructions for preparing to join in our liturgy.
It will different, it won't be perfect, but it will be US -- and it will, we hope, be a good and inspirational event.
See you on Sunday... either in the room, or on the Zoom.

 Dear SC,This Sunday will be our first in-person liturgy since March 2020.It will also be our first hybrid one… and a trial/an experiment with technology.We’ll need time …..
Art, in BC, is the chief technician, with Brian and John M on site. It turns out that we will not have access to the school's Wi-Fi, so our internet connection will have to be set up using someone's phone and data package.  When we did a trial run at the school a couple of weeks ago, we did, briefly, have some issues with sound and video, and even lost internet connection for a few minutes.  We think we have sorted out most of the obvious technical problems, but we mention this to you just as an alert.
Zoomers: For this first hybrid liturgy, please send your prayer intentions to Maria  mfdipaolo at bell.netand me   erwhelan at icloud.com via email by tomorrow (Friday) evening, so that we can read them at the liturgy.
There will likely be no pre-liturgy chat, but there will be one after. Those who are joining on Zoom shouldlog in just before 11AM.
In-person attendees:We will share bread at communion, but no wine. (Following current health considerations,Fr Jack will bring wine, just for himself.)
After the Liturgy, there will be no coffee, but do bring bring your own snacks, and socialize. We will assess/discuss the situation, going forward.
In the coming days, there will be a community zoom meeting to discuss this first hybrid‘meeting’ and we look forward to your participation and comments.
