Hi Sunday Community
I am still awake. Thanks to everybody for the very moving liturgy we
celebrated together this evening for Christmas Eve.
I just went outside briefly and can’t see any  stars at all because the fog
moved into my backyard. It is so still And beautiful. I thought it was a
little metaphor for life, we want so much to see stars, but the fog is
hiding them, and yet we know they’re there. Even in the fog of life, we can
trust God is there. I am grateful for this evening and wish everybody a
very merry Christmas. Tomorrow morning we are having our own community
Christmas Day Mass and then later in the afternoon some of the boys are
coming over from the other places for a little Spiritan Christmas dinner. I
hope whatever any of you do that Christmas day is a time of peace, love,
togetherness, and some good laughter.
