[Sundaycommunity] Reminder Open House Jan 1

Thank you for the reminder, Elizabeth. I was so hoping to make it down
on Jan 1, but we are trying to play it safe. Our daughter tested
positive on Dec. 28th so we missed her and her family for our
Christmas celebration with the other daughter and family who came down
from Montreal for the occasion. Zoom is an okay alternative, but we
missed out again with our kids and  grandkids getting together at our
new house. Sometimes it is hard to see the light at the end of the
tunnel, but at least we were able to connect electronically.
We were at a funeral today of a 22 year old former student who died on
Dec. 22nd with complications from his diabetes. It was very sobering
and so whilst we didn't break bread with all the family we did make
the effort to connect. Mathew's family were robbed of that
opportunity.
Be well. Stay safe and hopefully we will meet in person sometime in
the near future. A  big shout out and thanks for all you do to keep
the Sunday Community connected.
